Community Markets
Our affordable produce markets bring fresh, high-quality, and healthy food to Halifax neighbourhoods facing food access barriers. Markets operate year-round in Fairview, North End Halifax, North Dartmouth, and the Musquodoboit Valley, as well as a pilot location in Sackville.
From November to May, find us indoors at local community spaces. From June to October, find us in select outdoor locations with our custom market vehicle.
What We Sell
Markets feature a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with staples such as:
“COBS Bread” whole wheat bread
“Scotia Poultry” eggs
“Fancy Lebanese Bakery” pita
“Upward Mobility Kitchen” frozen meals (Dartmouth Location only)
“Mobile Food Market” spices and dried goods
Selected convenience canned goods

We accept cash, debit, and credit
Babies and children are welcome
We are dog-friendly
We operate year-round, with indoor locations for poor weather

North End Halifax

Inside NorthWood
WHEN:
Every Saturday 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Wellington Firehall
WHEN:
Final Wednesday of the month 3:30pm - 5:30pm
(A pilot running once monthly until July 2026)
Musquodoboit Valley
WHERE:
Middleton United Church (inside during poor weather & on the lawn during clear, summer days)

Every Thursday 3:30pm - 5:30pm

At the 26 Courtney Road.
